I am Mohammed Mudassir Azeemi, born in December 19, 1978, in the metropolitan city of Pakistan, known as Karachi, my name was picked by my mom, actually it is the title of Prophet Mohammed Peace Be Upon Him, and there is a chapter with that name "Mudassir" in Koran, usually people call me "Mudassir" but when I came here in United States, I suddenly get popular with "Mohammed" as my first name, actually Mohammed is kind of "Prefix" in every Muslim Name, but my real name is Mudassir and my family name is Surmawala and but I am using Azeemi as my last name because I am from Sufi Order of Azeemia.
I graduated from University of Karachi and then after spending 5 years of my professional life in Karachi, Pakistan I got an opportunity to work in San Jose, CA for Expedia's luxury vacation department known as "Classic Custom Vacations", and where I got this opportunity? From the ol' n famous.... ASPLists.com.
I started my career as a MS Access Developer, but when I accidently discover the extension ...ASP while exporting Access Reports to HTML, I start getting curious and curious! and then I finally landed to LearnASP.com and from there I get in to the ASPLists.com and this is the place where I met with my recruiter and she was looking to get help from some developers to solve some bugs, and there I was, and offered myself to help her out and then once we problems solved, then she gave me couple of small task to see if I am capable of doing the ASP Stuff, thanks to Charles' LearnASP.com's 250+ lesson, which I learn without any hesitation , yup! all of them.
And yes, i dream about San Jose, CA as my first base in US , the Geek Nest I would say, after getting inspiration from Pirates of the Silicon Valley movie! and also the introduction of Silicon Valley in my inaugration ceremony of my Two Year Diploma Classes that I took from AT&T Education Center now known as NCR Education Center (yup AT&T Yahoo! and NCR of US they have their training centers there in the major cities of Pakistan).
I start programming on GWBasic in 1988-1989 on Comodore and I love to do coding, reason is I am inspired by LEGO and that OOP thingy is just like LEGO!
Now a days I am maintaining my site at : www.BonGeek.com and this is the inspiration also I acquired from Charles Mark Caroll, he is my Mentor and my Brother.
At the moment I am working for a superb company as a Software Architect , that company known as Softagon Corporation based in San Francisco, CA and I am also currently living in San Francisco, CA!
